	Our commitment


	As an organisation, we operate in the field of development cooperation, working to promote and protect the Right to Health. We understand this right to mean not only the absence of diseases or illnesses, but as complete physical, psychological and social well-being. Although the Right to Health is deemed a fundamental and universal Human Right, millions of people lack access to health care or even to basic sanitary conditions. We find such variations in standards of health around the world to be unacceptable, especially when there are means to overcome them through viable and accessible measures. We believe that correcting these inequities is a question of social justice, as much within individual nations as between them.
	MISSION ANESVAD Foundation is an independent, non religious and Non-Governmental Organisation for Development (NGOD) with the following objective: To contribute to the promotion and protection of health understood as a Fundamental Human Right: Defending Health not just as the absence of illness or disease, but as complete physical, mental and social well-being. Intervening politically, socially, economically and culturally. Developing alliances with actors on the South who are main agents of their own development.
	VISION To promote actions towards sustainable internal development, facilitating access to health for vulnerable groups in the communities of collaborating countries. To perform actions of a social health nature aimed at vulnerable groups were we are based. To promote social changes which allow the transformation of the structural causes of poverty, inequality and social exclusion. To implement educational and awareness-raising projects for development which promote the transformation of the structural causes of poverty, inequality and social exclusion. To promote concerted actions through collaboration with other organisations.
