Universal health is a right, not a privilege.<\/h2>\n\n\n

At Anesvad Foundation, we have spent over 50 years working to guarantee access to health<\/strong>

Anesvad Foundation came into being to help the sick and their families at the Santa Marina Antituberculosis Sanatorium in Bilbao.<\/p>\n\n \n

During the 1970s, we started to carry out interventions in impoverished countries through a project to fight leprosy, led by Jesuit Javier Olazabal, on the island of Culion, Philippines, the place with the greatest concentration of people with this disease in the world.<\/p>\n\n \n

Since 2007, our purpose has been focused on fighting to ensure all people, wherever they are, have the Right to Health guaranteed.

We currently work in Sub-Saharan Africa, combatting Neglected Tropical Diseases, illnesses people in the most impoverished conditions suffer from. We place emphasis on Buruli ulcer, yaws, leprosy and lymphatic filariasis.<\/p>\n\n \n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n
