As we do every year, we are launching the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.anesvad.org\/en\/awards\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Seventh Edition of the Anesvad HEALLTH Awards<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This edition will once again be held in person, and the awards ceremony will be held at the <strong>BBK Hall in Bilbao <\/strong>on <strong>1 June<\/strong>. It will be a special occasion on which to celebrate that we are gathering in person and can once again be close to all those people who support the efforts of Fundaci\u00f3n Anesvad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A professional jury will decide the Anesvad Awards<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Nominations <\/strong>to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.anesvad.org\/en\/awards\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">participate in this Seventh Edition<\/a> closed on 14 March. A professional jury composed of experts in health, development, African studies, journalism, and the foundational sector will deliberate and score the fifty proposals received in order to select the winning candidates. This jury is composed of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Garbi\u00f1e Biurrun<\/strong>, chair of Fundaci\u00f3n Anesvad.<\/li><li><strong>Albert Roca<\/strong>, professor of Cultural Anthropology, History of Medicine, and History of Africa at the University of Lleida.<\/li><li><strong>Vanessa L\u00f3pez<\/strong>, executive director of Salud por Derecho.<\/li><li><strong>Paul Ortega<\/strong>, director of eLankidetza, Basque Co-operation and Development Agency.<\/li><li><strong>Jos\u00e9 Segura<\/strong>, Casa \u00c1frica.<\/li><li><strong>Galder Reguera<\/strong>, Fundaci\u00f3n Athletic.<\/li><li><strong>Lucila Rodr\u00edguez<\/strong>, general manager of Fundaci\u00f3n porCausa.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">New this year, we will be <strong>giving 3 awards<\/strong>: one for professional lifetime achievement, one for best track record in co-operation development, and one for a project or initiative on Education for Social Transformation.<br \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In 2022, we are continuing to strengthen the efforts of organizations that strive to bring healthcare to Sub-Saharan Africa against a backdrop as difficult as the current one.
