An event held in person which will also be broadcast live from the <strong>BBK Hall in Bilbao<\/strong> for the whole world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These awards are a recognition for those who work to promote healthcare in difficult circumstances, improving the lives of millions of forgotten people. Once again this year, we maintain our commitment to <strong>recognizing organizations and people<\/strong> fighting to bring healthcare to sub-Saharan Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Programme for the Seventh Edition of the Anesvad Awards<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">19:00 \u2013 19:30 Awards ceremony<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the first part of the event we will be presenting <strong>three awards<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\"><li>Award for professional lifetime achievement<\/li><li>Award for best track record in co-operation development<\/li><li>Award for an educational project or initiative for social transformation<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">19:30 \u2013 20:15 Colloquium<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year, in addition, we will also examine the <strong>consequences deriving from the current global geopolitical situation<\/strong> <strong>for the African continent<\/strong> with a colloquium organized jointly with <a href=\"https:\/\/elpais.com\/planeta-futuro\/2021-11-11\/los-mil-frentes-en-la-batalla-contra-las-enfermedades-de-la-pobreza.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">El Pa\u00eds \u2013 Planeta Futuro<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/casafrica.es\/es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Casa \u00c1frica<\/a>. Under the title <em>Forgotten crises: perspectives from Africa following the changes in global geopolitics<\/em>, this will feature the participation of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Pepe Naranjo<\/strong>, Freelance journalist based in western Africa.<\/li><li><strong>Rosebell Kagumire<\/strong>, Ugandan journalist.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The colloquium will be moderated by the journalist specializing in human rights <strong>Maitena Salinas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We look forward to seeing you!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On June 1st we celebrate the Seventh Edition of the Anesvad Awards for solidarity and co-operation.
